This site is a collection of the writing that I have done about music, specifically free and experimental music since I began working with the Free Jazz Blog in 2011. After a bit of time being a contributor to the site, I began taking on more and more of the administrative and coordination work, and for many years now, I have managed the daily workings of the blog. However, I have always had in mind that I would keep a collection of my own writing on music (and other topics) in its own space.
So, here it is.
I’ll be working on the site as time allows, adding articles and cleaning up older ones that did not import completely right. For example, you may notice that the embed code for Bandcamp and YouTube did not make it through the various processes intact, so it is a work in progress. Also, I do not intend to simultaneously post articles from the Free Jazz Blog, or any other publications.
I consider this site to be a portfolio, basically something for me to use, but I am also quite happy that you are here and taking the time to read this page.
